This year’s 52nd issue of Shueisha‘s Young Jump will announce on Thursday that the second anime season based on Sui Ishida‘s Tokyo Ghoul manga will premiere on January 8 onTokyo MX.
Whereas Ishida was credited with creating the original manga for the first season, Ishida is now also credited with the original story concept for the second season.
The first season and manga’s story is set in Tokyo, which is haunted by mysterious “ghouls” who are devouring humans. People are gripped by the fear of these ghouls whose identities are masked in mystery.
