Fairy Tale falls under the anime/manga genre of “shounen”, which is a manga aimed at younger boys. Other examples that fit into this genre are Dragon Ball Z, One Piece, Naruto and Bleach. Typically in a “shounen” anime series there are lots of fighting scenes … and of course the hero always wins no matter what the odds against them … and no matter how powerful the enemy seems to be … the hero always wins. I don’t really like this style of anime, but episode 141 “Search for the Infinity Clock” could finally have a genuinely good storyline, but who knows.
