I love Cowboy Bebop … and the soundtrack is of course something extra special. As with most great anime, it’s easy to enjoy watching each episode blissfully ignoring the soundtrack (if it is skill-fully crafted in a way that simply enhances the visuals whilst not leaping out at us. Yoko Kanno, mastered this with her soundtrack for the classic Cowboy Bebop anime series … but I can’t imagine watching Cowboy Bebop without Yoko Kanno’s classic soundtrack.
